Accommodation Agreement

Article 1 (Application of These Terms)
1. The lodging contract (hereinafter referred to as the "lodging contract") entered into by this hotel shall be governed by the provisions of these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions"), and matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws and customs.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding article, this hotel may enter into special agreements, provided that they do not contravene the purport of these terms and conditions, laws and customs.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)
1. Those who wish to apply for a lodging contract with our hotel shall state the following to our hotel:
Guest name, contact information
Dates of stay and estimated arrival time
Accommodation fees (as a rule, based on the basic accommodation charges in Table 1)
Other matters as deemed necessary by this hotel
2. If a guest who has entered into an accommodation contract with the Hotel (hereinafter referred to as the "Guest") requests to extend their stay beyond the accommodation dates specified in Article X, Item 2, the Hotel will process this request as a new accommodation contract application at the time the request is made.
Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
1. The accommodation contract shall be established when our hotel accepts the application as provided in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply if we prove that we have not accepted the application.
2. When a lodging contract is established according to the provisions of the preceding article, you will be required to pay a deposit, as determined by the hotel within the limit of the basic accommodation fee for the period of stay, by a date specified by the hotel.
3. The deposit shall be applied, in the first instance, to the accommodation charges to be finally paid by the guest, and in the event that the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 become applicable, it shall be applied to the penalty, and thereafter to the damages, and any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment of the charges in accordance with the provisions of Article 12.
4. If the deposit stipulated in Article 2 is not paid by the date specified by the hotel in accordance with the provisions of the same article, the accommodation contract shall lose its validity. However, this shall only apply if the hotel has notified the guest of the designated deposit payment deadline.
Article 4 (Special Provision Waiving Application Deposit)
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 2, this hotel may agree to a special agreement whereby payment of the deposit stipulated in the said paragraph is not required after the formation of the contract.
2. In accepting the application for accommodation contract, if this hotel does not request payment of the deposit specified in Article 2, Paragraph 2, or does not specify a payment deadline for the deposit, it will be treated as having agreed to the special provision in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 (Refusal of Accommodation Contract)
1. This hotel may refuse to enter into a lodging contract in the following cases:
When the accommodation application does not adhere to these terms and conditions.
No rooms available due to full occupancy.
When a person who intends to stay is found to be likely to engage in acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals in relation to their stay.
When a person attempting to stay is clearly identified as having an infectious disease (this includes, but is not limited to, cases where the possibility of an infectious disease is deemed high by a doctor designated by our company (including web-based diagnoses), or when a person refuses a medical examination despite our request, and there are reasonable grounds to suspect an infectious disease).
When you are asked to bear an unreasonable burden regarding accommodation.
When unable to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 6 (Right of Accommodation Client to Cancel Contract)
1. Guests may cancel their accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
2. If the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest (excluding cases where the hotel has requested payment of the deposit by a specified date in accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 2, and the guest cancels the accommodation contract before that date), the hotel shall charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the attached table (Table 2). However, if the hotel has agreed to special provisions under Article 4, Paragraph 1, the guest shall be liable for the cancellation fee only when the hotel has informed the guest of this liability at the time of agreeing to the special provisions.
3. If a guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM on the scheduled day of stay (or two hours after the indicated arrival time if such time was previously specified) without prior notice, this hotel may consider the accommodation contract to be canceled by the guest and proceed accordingly.
Article 7 (Hotel's Right to Terminate Contract)
The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases. However, this clause does not mean that the hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Inn Law.
When a guest is found to be likely to engage in acts that violate legal provisions, public order, or good morals, or has engaged in such acts.
When a guest falls under items A through C below.
Yakuza, yakuza members, quasi-yakuza members, or yakuza-related persons, or other antisocial forces.
When a corporation or other organization is controlled by yakuza or yakuza members in its business activities
A corporation that has a member of a yakuza organization among its directors.
When a guest's behavior causes significant disturbance to other guests.
When a guest is a patient with a specific infectious disease, etc.
When violent demands regarding accommodation are made, or when unreasonable burdens are requested (excluding cases where the accommodation guest requests the removal of social barriers as prescribed by Article 7, Paragraph 2, or Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Act on Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities).
When a guest repeatedly makes requests to the hotel that fall under Article 5-6 of the Ordinances for Enforcement of the Innkeeping Business Act, due to the burden of fulfilling them being excessive and posing a risk of significantly hindering the provision of accommodation services to other guests.
When unable to accommodate a guest due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
Smoking in bed in the guest room, tampering with fire-fighting equipment, or other violations of the hotel's rules and regulations (limited to those necessary for fire prevention).
2. If the hotel cancels the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding article, the hotel will not charge the accommodation guest for accommodation services or the like that have not yet been provided.
Article 8 (Registration of Accommodation)
1. On the day of your stay, guests will be required to register the following information at the hotel's front desk.
Guest's name, address, and contact information
For foreign nationals, we will copy your passport, including your nationality, passport number, place and date of entry, at check-in.
Departure date and scheduled departure time
Other matters deemed necessary by this hotel
2. When a guest wishes to pay the charges specified in Article 12 by means other than Japanese yen, such as by lodging ticket or credit card, they shall present such means of payment at the time of registration as stipulated in the preceding paragraph.
Article 9 (Room Usage Hours)
1. Guests may use their rooms from 3 PM until 11 AM. However, for consecutive stays, guests may use their rooms all day, except on the day of arrival and departure.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel may permit the use of guest rooms beyond the time specified in the said paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges will apply.
Depending on the reservation status of the next customer, we may not be able to accommodate an extension. Thank you for your understanding.
For up to 2 hours, 30% of the room charge.
Over 2 hours: 100% of the room charge.
Article 10 (Compliance with Terms of Use)
1. Guests shall comply with the hotel's rules and regulations posted within the hotel.
Article 11 (Business Hours)
1. The operating hours of the main hotel facilities are as follows. For detailed operating hours of other facilities, please refer to the brochures provided, posted notices, and the in-room service directory.

2. The time mentioned in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if absolutely necessary. In that case, we will notify you in an appropriate manner.
Article 12 (Payment of Fees)
1. The breakdown of charges, such as accommodation fees, to be paid by guests is as shown in the attached table, Table 1.
2. Payment for accommodation charges, etc., as stated in the preceding article, shall be made at the front desk upon guest's departure or when requested by the hotel, in currency or by other means approved by the hotel, such as accommodation vouchers or credit cards.
3. If the hotel provides a room to a guest and it becomes available for use, the room charge will still be applied even if the guest voluntarily does not stay.
Article 13 (Hotel's Liability)
1. When damage is caused to a guest by reasons not attributable to the hotel in the execution or non-execution of the accommodation contract or related contracts, the hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, this shall not apply when such damage is caused by reasons not attributable to the hotel.
2. This hotel has received the appropriate mark from the fire department and is also covered by inn liability insurance to prepare for any potential fires or other incidents.
Article 14 (Handling when Contracted Room Cannot Be Provided)
1. If the hotel cannot provide the contracted room to a guest, with the guest's consent, the hotel will arrange for accommodation at another facility with as similar conditions as possible.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if this hotel is unable to arrange accommodation at another establishment, it shall pay compensation equivalent to the cancellation fee to the guest, and this compensation shall be applied to the amount of damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to this hotel for being unable to provide a guest room, no compensation shall be paid.
Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Goods, etc.)
1. In the event of loss, damage, or other harm to items or cash deposited by guests at the front desk, including valuables, the hotel will compensate for the damage, unless such damage is due to force majeure. However, with respect to cash and valuables, if the hotel requested declaration of their type and value and the guest did not comply, the hotel will compensate for the damage up to a maximum of 150,000 yen. Depending on the declared contents, we may refuse to accept them for safekeeping.
2. Regarding items belonging to guests brought into the hotel, including cash and valuables, which were not deposited with the front desk, the hotel shall be liable for any loss or damage, such as destruction or damage, caused by the hotel's willful misconduct or negligence. However, for items whose type and price were not pre-declared by the guest, the hotel shall be liable for damages up to a maximum of 50,000 yen.
Article 16 (Storage of Guests' Luggage or Personal Effects)
1. If the guest's luggage arrives at our hotel prior to their stay, we will store it responsibly only with our prior consent and will hand it over to the guest upon check-in at the front desk.
2. If luggage or personal belongings of a guest are left behind at this hotel after the guest has checked out, and the owner is identified, the hotel will contact the owner and request instructions. However, if there are no instructions from the owner or if the owner cannot be identified, the items will be kept for 7 days, including the date of discovery, and then reported to the nearest police station.
3. In the cases described in the preceding two paragraphs, the hotel's liability for the storage of guests' luggage or personal belongings shall be governed by the provisions of Article 1, Paragraph 1, in the case of the first preceding paragraph, and by the provisions of Article 1, Paragraph 2, in the case of the second preceding paragraph.
Article 17 (Responsibility for Parking)
1. If hotel guests use our parking lot, the hotel rents out space regardless of whether keys are deposited, and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, the hotel will be liable for damages caused by the hotel's intentional acts or negligence.
Article 18 (Guest's Liabilities)
1. If the hotel incurs damages due to the intentional act or negligence of a guest, that guest shall compensate the hotel for such damages.
Article 19 (Yakuza, Gang Members, and Situations Likely to Disturb Public Order)
We ask that you refrain from using this hotel if you are a designated yakuza organization or a designated yakuza member under the Act on Prevention of Unjustifiable Acts by Organized Crime (Effective March 1, 1992). (If this is discovered at the time of booking or during your stay, we will ask you to leave immediately.)
We kindly request that individuals or groups associated with anti-social organizations (such as yakuza or extremist groups, and their members) refrain from using our hotel. (Should such affiliation become apparent during your reservation or stay, we will unfortunately have to refuse service at that time.)
If any violent, threatening, extortionate, or intimidating demands, or similar acts are demonstrated, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. Furthermore, individuals who have previously engaged in similar behavior will be denied service.
If a guest is recognized as being unable to ensure their own safety due to physical or mental weakness, drugs, or self-loss due to alcohol, or if there is a risk of causing danger, fear, or anxiety to other guests, their use of the hotel will be immediately refused.
Article 20 (Changes to These Terms)
1. Our company may change these terms and conditions at our discretion in the following cases.
When an amendment to these terms and conditions is in the general interest of the guests
When the modification of these terms does not contravene the purpose of the agreement, and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the modification, the appropriateness of the modified content, and other circumstances related to the modification.
2. In the event that our company changes these Terms and Conditions in accordance with the preceding paragraph, we will post notice of the change, the content of the revised Terms and Conditions, and the effective date of the revised Terms and Conditions on our company website by the effective date of the revised Terms and Conditions.
3. In addition to Article 1, in cases where changes require the accommodation guest's consent by law, we will obtain the accommodation guest's consent through our prescribed method.
Article 21 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1. The accommodation contract shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes arising between the hotel and the guest in connection with the accommodation contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

  1. %is the ratio of the cancellation fee to the basic accommodation fee.
  2. If the contract period is shortened, a penalty equivalent to one day's fee (the first day) will be charged, regardless of the number of days shortened.
  3. In the case of a group booking, if rooms are reduced, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows.
    • If a reduction in the number of rooms occurs between 30 days and 15 days before your reserved date, you will be charged 100% for the reduction exceeding 20% of the total number of rooms reserved.
    • If you reduce the number of rooms by more than 10% of the total number of rooms booked, 100% of the reduction will be charged when the reduction occurs between 14 days and 4 days before the date of use.
    • If a reduction in the number of rooms occurs within three days of use, you will be charged 100% of the total reduced room count.
